Reese, you are five months old!

I'm so sorry I didn't do a 4 month update! I kept putting it off & never got around to it. The good news, though? That means the end of this post will be jam-packed with adorable pictures of you!

You weighed in at 13 pounds, 11 ounces & were 25" long at your four month doctor's appointment. I put you on the baby scale and the nurse said "well, she's just a tiny little thing, isn't she?" You're perfect though -- a little small for your age, but not to a level that's concerning. Your pediatrician said that developmentally you're right on track & thought you were doing great!

You are still in 3-6 month clothes & believe it or not, still wearing some of your 0-3 month pants!
You eat 5-6 ounces of formula every few hours & will be trying out baby food for the first time this week. You've already had tiny tastes of yogurt & ice cream -- and were big fans of both! Starting baby food is kind of bittersweet for me -- I'm excited to see your reactions to new foods, but it also reminds me how quickly you're growing up! I'm sure I'll feel this way about all of your milestones! Hopefully in next month's post I can report some of your new favorite foods. :)

You started rolling over shortly after my last blog post! We can tell how anxious you are to start crawling & try to keep up with your big sister. It's so easy to get a smile out of you these days, too! You're definitely one of the happiest babies I've ever seen.

You currently love watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with Caroline, playing peek-a-boo with daddy & keeping mommy company in the kitchen while she cooks. You fit in so perfectly with our little family! You are currently referred to as "Reese Cup" or "Baby Reese" the majority of the time.

You will also be going on your first plane ride this month! You're going with me, Caroline & Grammie Arlene to New Hampshire for my uncle's wedding. A lot of people are looking forward to meeting you! I'm hoping that you enjoy the plane ride & are as laid back on the trip as you are here at home. :)

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the past couple months! As you'll be able to see, even though you're still tiny, you're growing like crazy & are such a beautiful baby!

Reese, you are three months old!

Although you haven't been back to the doctor yet for an "official" weigh in, you are growing like crazy! I would guess that you've put on a good 2 pounds since your last pediatrician appointment! You have a few super cute baby rolls on your legs, but you are mostly just solid. You're still in size 1 diapers, but have moved into 3-6 month clothes.

Your hair is still dark brown and is starting to fill in more on the top of your head. Your eyes are still dark brown - and so unbelievably beautiful and expressive! I'm absolutely in love with your eyes.

You smile at almost anything & everything lately and occasionally let out sweet little laughs.

One of your favorite things to do is lay on a blanket on the floor & just look around. You watch Caroline run around with her toys, watch TV, watch mommy clean, watch the ceiling fan -- you're definitely a little observer & happy being on the floor until you get hungry.

You're so close to rolling over! You can get about 90% of the way there, and then you give up. I wouldn't be surprised if you start rolling over in the next week or so.

You currently eat about 5-6 ounces every 2-3 hours during the day.

I've never seen a baby that sleeps as well as you! You usually doze off after a 8pm-ish bottle and sleep until 7 or 8am. Seriously! It is totally normal for you to sleep a solid 12 hours. I'm honestly afraid it transition you to your crib (although you nap in there) since you do so well in your Rock & Play! Mommy loves her sleep & apparently you do, too!

We are having so much fun watching your personality develop & watching you interact with your big sister. She wakes up every morning and asks "Where baby Reese?" if she doesn't immediately see you. And you definitely save your biggest smiles for her!

Here are some recent pictures! As you can see, you're growing like crazy & get cuter every single day!
