Reese, you are seven months old!

Sorry for skipping your six month update! Another mommy fail. You and your sister keep me super busy & sometimes I put these blogs on the back burner - which I really shouldn't do!

At your six-month doctor's appointment you weighed in at 16 pounds, 13 ounces & 27" long. Which basically means that you are average for your age & growing perfectly! The doctor was really impressed with your developmental skills & the fact that you only cried for about 60 seconds after your shots. You're my little champ!

Since my last post, you have transformed into a curious, energetic, full-of-life little girl! You are able to sit up on your own for long periods of time. This includes sitting in high chairs when we go out to eat - which you absolutely love! You can scoot across the living room with ease - even though I wouldn't exactly call it crawling, you definitely get where you want to go. You babble like crazy. We hear "mama" and "dada" but it usually isn't directed at the right person... so we aren't counting either as your first word just yet.

Last month you rode in an airplane for the first time and did so well! I don't think you cried a single time & everyone sitting around us raved about your (and your sister's) behavior. They couldn't believe it was your first time traveling!

Over the past couple weeks you've developed the cutest little crinkled-nose smile that just melts my heart! You also start hyperventilating when you get really excited about something - which is so adorable. It is so easy to make you smile and you're such an easygoing baby.

You haven't met a baby food yet that you don't enjoy. Some of your favorites right now are: Hawaiian Delight (banana & pineapple), pears, carrots, mangoes, sweet potatoes, peach cobbler, green beans & applesauce. You've had a taste or two of your dad's sweet tea... you absolutely loved it, so I think it's official that you're a Hampton!

More proof that you're a Hampton, you love your sleep! You're still sleeping a solid 12 hours every night.

Here are some (okay, a ton) of recent pictures:
